The Kids Zone is a supervised play area for parents exercising at TX Fitness — not a licensed child-care facility, and not regulated by the State of Texas (Texas HHS Child Care Regulation).
A Supervised Kids Zone for Members Working Out in the Greater Forney Area
Finding a gym with on-site childcare* near you shouldn't be hard. TX Fitness is conveniently located on US-80 in Forney, making it an easy drive from Talty, Heartland, Terrell, Kaufman, Crandall, Rockwall, Heath, Sunnyvale, and Mesquite. Our supervised Kids Zone lets parents from across Kaufman and Rockwall counties focus on their workouts while their kids play nearby — right inside the club, while you exercise on-site.
Whether you're a busy parent in Heartland looking for a gym with kids' care*, a Terrell family wanting a safe and fun spot for the kids, a Mesquite resident tired of overcrowded big-box gyms, or a Rockwall commuter who stops in on the way home — the TX Fitness Kids Zone has you covered while you train.
How the Kids Zone Works
The Kids Zone is a supervised play area we provide for parents while they work out at TX Fitness. Because care is offered alongside your workout — and a few simple rules are followed — it is exempt from state child-care licensing. Here's what that means for you:
You stay and work out on-site
The Kids Zone is for parents (or the adult responsible for the child) who are exercising or using the facility at TX Fitness while their child is in our care. Please remain in the club the entire time your child is in the Kids Zone.
We can always reach you
Because you're on the premises, our caregivers can contact you at all times if your child needs you.
Time limits per child
Each child may stay in the Kids Zone for up to 2 hours per day.
Ages 1–11
The Kids Zone is a supervised play area for children ages 1 through 11, available as an add-on to your membership.
Not a licensed childcare facility
When we call the Kids Zone "childcare" or "kids' care," we mean a supervised play area we provide for parents working out on-site. It is not a licensed childcare operation, not a drop-off daycare, and is not regulated or authorized by the State of Texas (Texas Health and Human Services Child Care Regulation).
TX Fitness team members who work part-time may use the Kids Zone within the same daily and weekly limits above. A Kids Zone caregiver may bring their own child without time limits, as long as the child stays with the caregiver.
